She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul L. Carpenter and Julia H. "Dollie" Carpenter (Stevens); and her daughter Kelli Anne Guthrie. She is survived by: her boyfriend Jim Souers; her former spouse Thomas Guthrie; her son Adam Guthrie; her close friend Dr. Jim Souers; her siblings, Patty Carpenter, Julie Buchanan (Lew), Shari Hedges (Mark), John Carpenter (Beth) and Steven Carpenter (Sally); her stepchildren, Loren Souers (Tessa) and Amy Jo Goldfarb (Aaron); and her grandchildren, Max, Ben Goldfarb, Porter and Aubrey Jo Souers. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
