He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Carpenter and Martha Carpenter (Osborn); his fiancée Tammy Losik; his brothers, Kenneth, Robert and Dennis Carpenter; his siblings-in-law, Leroy Johnson, Harold Snyder, Jr. and Patricia Carpenter; his nieces and nephews, Dennis Carpenter, Jr., Clinton Carpenter, Nancy and Candy Carpenter; and his great-niece Haylee Lewis.
He is survived by: his siblings, John Carpenter (Roxie) of Centreville, Dale Carpenter (Sheri) of Mendon, Douglas Carpenter of Three Rivers, Mary Johnson of South Bend, June Snyder of Three Rivers and Patsy Carpenter of Three Rivers; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Carpenter and Thelma Carpenter of Three Rivers. He is also survived by sixteen nephews; eleven nieces; and many great-nieces and nephews.
