He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Shelton; his children, Leonard Shelton (Shayla) of Kalamazoo, Crystal Johnson (Dennis) of Livonia and Andrea Davis (Marvin) of Conyers; his grandchildren, Jemelle Jordan, Derrick Jordan, Ladanien Shelton, Kohan Mays-Shelton and Leonard Shelton Jr.; his sisters, Doris Rollerson of Chicago, Ill, Willastyne Carter (Sterling) of Elkhart, Ind and Shirley Shelton of Kalamazoo; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Shelton, Beverly Armstrong, Coy Whitten and Mansfield Patterson.
Donations in George's memory may be directed to Bethel Baptist Church or Three Rivers Hospice.
