It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ewalt Shoesmith of Three Rivers, Michigan, born in Perry, Michigan, who passed away on January 14, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Shoesmith and Velma Shoesmith (Walker); and his wife Doris Elaine Wolford. He is survived by: his sons, David J. Shoesmith (Brenda) of Three Rivers, Dennis A. Shoesmith (Mitzi) of Three Rivers and Darin R. Shoesmith (Debra) of Norway, Mich.; his grandchildren, David, Garrett, Travis, Lisa, Eric, Jimmy, Ryan, Stephanie, Jennifer and Jacob; his brother Dallas Shoesmith (Carol) of Battle Creek; and his caregiver Donna Rice.
