He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelbert Newland and Jessie Newland (Graves); his wife Margaret; his grandchildren, Kelly Marie Hampton and Scott Hampton; and his siblings, Stephen Davidian and Dorothy Emmanuel.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Newland (Kay) of Tekonsha, Alice Cavinder (Stephen) of Tekonsha and Linda Hampton (Tom) of Tekonsha. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
