It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John V. Duty of Tekonsha, Michigan, born in Albion, Michigan, who passed away on January 13, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Erastus Duty and Mary Duty. He is survived by: his wife Julie Ann Klingaman; his children, Holly Corey (Scott), Emily Mackenzie (Grant) and Austin; his granddaughters, Leah, Ava Corey and Phoebe Mackenzie; and his siblings, Jimmy (Eileen) and Rhonda Cooley.

“So sorry to hear about John passing and the loss of a cherished family member! Great memories of John and I hanging out with his chemistry set, and many other things we did I remember him working on TVs in their spare room and we were listening to Cosmos factory by CCR and also The Guess Who. We would cruise around in Jimmy’s 1970 Chevelle while he was away at work,I believe in Detroit. What a sweet car we had a lot of fun in that riding around! Bob King Vancouver, WA”
