With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Paul Smith Jr. of Tekonsha, Michigan, born in Coldwater, Michigan, who passed away on January 6, 2023 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Smith, Sr.; his stepfather Herbert Everett; and his siblings, Carol Nichols and Eddie Everett. He is survived by: his children, James Smith (Shannon) of Union City, Ruby Smith (Scott) of Sherwood, Michael Schroll (Ashley) of Charlotte, Joy Smith (Bobby) of Sherwood, Vanessa Smith of Union City and Caitlin Smith (Johnie) of Tekonsha; his stepsons, Mark Farkas (Tracey) of Tekonsha and Joe Farkas (Tishia) of Marshall; his mother Sharon Everett (Keller) of Tekonsha; his sisters, Cheryl Sullivan (Phil) of Jackson and Diane Ranger (Bob) of Tekonsha; and his brother-in-law Doug Nichols. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and 2 great-grandchildren.
