He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kowalko and Jennie Kowalko; his father-in-law Arnold Wagner; and his nephew Ryan Kowalko. He is survived by: his wife Karen Kowalko; his daughters, Camille and Allison Kowalko; his siblings, John Kowalko (Denise) and Mary Wierzbicki (Brian); and his stepmother-in-law Brenda Wagner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Michael's family.
