She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dallas and Ruth Dallas (Harrison); her husband Rev. Albert "Buddy" Burt; and her siblings, Raymond Dallas, Cooper Dallas and Marvene Dearman.

She is survived by: her children, John Burt (Carol) of Plantersville, MS, David Burt (Diane) of Gaines, MI and Maria Crane (Jerry) of Midland, MI.; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Jason, Justin, Sara, Charlie, Christine, Brandon and Adam; and her sisters, Carolyn Evans, Betty Jo Poche (Jarvis) and MaryNell Goudeau. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Marguerite's name to either the Hospice House of Shiawassee County or Carriage Town Ministries.
