James F. Pence Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James F. Pence of Swartz Creek, Michigan, who passed away on February 5, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John A Pence and Claire M. Pence of Durand; his siblings, Katherine Cooney, Marjorie Clark and Jack Pence; his stepson Lee LaJeunesse; and his son-in-law Melvin Matulewicz.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia LaJeunesse; his children, Terrye Matulewicz of Marquette, MI, Robin MacConnell (Steve) of Cincinnati, OH and Randy Pence (Jean) of Swartz Creek; his stepdaughter Nadine LaJeunesse; his sister-in-law Beverly Bracco (Ken) of Calumet, MI; and also Renaie Kolby. He is also survived by three grandsons, three great-grandsons; three step-granddaughters.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Miller Road Chapel (8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek, MI 48473). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel (8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek, MI 48473).
