It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Lloyd Maynard of Swartz Creek, Michigan, born in Marshalltown, Iowa, who passed away on December 12, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Marge; his children, Shawn Gibeault (Jeff), Nicole Maynard-Powell (John) and Derek Maynard (Cyndi); and his grandchildren, Grant, Paige Gibeault, Alexee, Kendyl Powell, Hailee and Quinn Maynard.

The family has requested that remembrances be made in Dan's name to the West Flint Optimist Club, an organization that works to help local children's programs or the Michigan Parkinson Foundation.
