He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Brown and Marva Brown; his wife Linda Kay Robert; and his brothers, Marvin Brown, Kim Brown and Kurt Brown.

He is survived by: his daughters, Kristee Mahler (Laik) and Allison Pelton (Bob); his grandsons, Walker, Reid and Bishop Pelton; and his siblings, Michelle Barrette, Debra Gapczynski, Kevin Brown (Jackie) and Kyle Brown (Dianna). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
