With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ina Rae Taulbee of Sturgis, Michigan, born in Garrett, Kentucky, who passed away on October 23, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Laferty and Dealie Laferty (Hughes); and her siblings, Camilla Faye Lawson, Patricia Ann Elkins, Buford Laferty and James Ray Laferty.
She is survived by: her daughter Angie; her granddaughter Jessica; her husband James E. Taulbee; her daughter Angela Sexton Flint of Sturgis; her granddaughter Kristin Harter (Matthew) of Sturgis; her great grandchildren, Bailey, Patrick, Lydia Harter and Jessica Jamkhanewala (Junaid) of Mumbai; her daughter Sandy McFarland (David) of Berea; her grandchildren, Levi McFarland (Carla), Isaac McFarland (Brooks), Samuel McFarland and Hannah Wheat (James); her great grandchildren, Jude Poynter, Ivor, Mack and Boone Wheat; her son James Taulbee (Lynette) of Stanton; her grandchildren, Nick Taulbee, Hailey Haines (Ben) and Max Taulbee; her great grandchild Elliott Taulbee; her son Tom Taulbee (Robin) of Grosse Ile; her grandchildren, Luke, Heather, Nathan and Dylan Taulbee; her brother-in-law Doug Elkins of Bronson; her nephews, Chris Lawson of Sturgis and Scott Laferty of Alma, Michigan.; and also, Aisha and Maria Jamkhanewala.
