He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Bivins and Laura Bivins (Peterson); his children, Todd Bivins (Geraldine) of Jackson, Shelley Bivins of Dexter and Joyce Bivins of Dexter; his stepchildren, Bonnie Knight (Chuck) of Stockbridge and Cyndi McBrien (Dean) of Pinckney; his siblings, James Bivins (Pat), Carolina, William Bivins (Judy) of Brooklyn, MI, Lora Stanfield of Oklahoma, Joseph Bivins of Napoleon, Daniel Bivins of Napoleon, Michael Bivins (Sandy) of Napoleon and Sandy Steinberger (Rick) of Brighton; his half-sisters, Wanetta Blair of Napoleon and Mary Racey (Sam) of Clinton; and his wife Lois Ann Bivins. He was also cherished by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
