He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Doan Shackelford and Opal Shackelford (Lamb); his wife Susan (Brodie); his son Brett Shackelford (Grace Di Gerlando); his grandchildren, Alexis and Gabriel Shackelford; and his siblings, Mary Carpenter (Jim), Jan and Lynn Shackelford. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
