With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E. Vredenburg of Stanwood, Michigan, born in Lakeview, Michigan, who passed away on September 22, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Vredenburg and Arthur "Reo" Vredenburg; his brothers, Erwin, Donald and Foster Vredenburg; and his brother-in-law Philip Russell.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Vredenburg of Stanwood; his siblings, Emil Vredenburg (Uli) of Concord, Roger Vredenburg (June) of Comstock Park and Sally Russell of Stanwood; and his sisters-in-law, Elsie Vredenburg of Tustin and Carla Vredenburg of Chippewa Lake. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and in-laws.

Memorial contributions can be made in Jim's name to the Green Country Church, 4010 205th Avenue, Morley, Michigan 49336.
