She was predeceased by: her son Tom Carter; and her grandsons, Donald W. Carter and Austin Pacholski. She is survived by: her husband Gordon Maguire; her children, Don Carter (Lori) and Dora Rood (Joshua); her daughter-in-law Cheri Carter; her stepchildren, Yvonne Maguire, Tim Maguire (Kelly) and Sheryl Horton; her grandchildren, Chad Carter (Staci), Jennifer Rae Cater, Jennifer Lynn Hesselink (Adam Hill), Robert G. Hesselink and Candy J. Carter (Michael Beyer); her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Met, Connor Hill, Leah Hill, Hannah Carter and Devin Pacholski; and her siblings, John McDonald (Elaine), Warren McDonald, Nelda Murray, Sharon Brown and Artie Juillert. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
