With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ellen Courtade (Sparta, Michigan), who passed away on February 18, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Louis Krupp (Bud) and Richard Courtade; her children, Donald Courtade, Mary Lou Momber and Jean Velting (Richard Heys); her son-in-law James Velting; her granddaughter Mary Kemperman; her brothers, Palmer Rappleyea and John Rappleyea (Bettie); and her brother-in-law Barry Feldpausch.
She is survived by: her children, Robert (Susan Courtade), Mark (Victoria Krupp), Chris (David Mazurek), Roman (Kay Krupp), Annette (Greg Walker), Kathleen (John Witte), Julie (Peter Birkeland), Ruth (Marvin Bradford), Katherine Brown and Jane (Peter Kane); her children-in-law, Tom Momber and Carol Courtade; her sisters, Jeanne Feldpausch and Joan Cooper (Ralph); and her sister-in-law Betty Courtade. She is also survived by 47 grandchildren; 61 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
