He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin "Hap" and Jeraldine (Riley); his brother Larry Lockard; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Lockard and Tom Edge.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Scott (Morgen), Amber (Isaiah), Nikki (Dan), Ashley (Brandon), Chelsea (Colt), Shelby (Nate), Victor, Tye and Dakota; his great grandchildren, Jasmyn, Jayda, Jordyn, Oliver, Olivia, Vivian, Freya and Kade; and his sisters, Sharon Emmons (Harold) and Beth Edge. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
