She was predeceased by: her parents, Elza LaPree and Gladys LaPree (Callen); her siblings, Caroline, Howard and Lyle; her brothers-in-law, Charles Krause and Wayne Wheeler, Sr.; and her son-in-law Robert Manley, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Caniff (Ray), Lou Anne Wheeler and Jack Wheeler, Jr. (Mary); her grandchildren, Bobbie Jo Arends (Matt), Rob Manley, Jr., Holly McGoran (Mike) and Mark Wheeler (Allison); her great grandchildren, Ryan, Jill, Sara Arends, Briar Manley, Dannielle Higgins (Joey), Dylan McGoran and Alex Wheeler; her great great grandchild Enslee Higgins; her sister Crystal Krause; and her sister-in-law Joyce Wilcox. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In-lieu of flowers, those wishing to offer an expression of sympathy are encouraged to make a memorial contribution to the Sparta Carnegie Township Library or Mamrelund Lutheran Church in Kent City.
