It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Colleen Ruiz of Sparta, Michigan, who passed away on May 1, 2022, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Sloan and Iris Sloan; her siblings, Gary Sloan and Judy Sloan; and her nephew Matthew Sloan.
She is survived by: her sons, Derek Johnson (Kaitlin Gevon) of Comstock Park, MI, Brett Johnson (Molly Robertson) of Comstock Park, MI and Joshua Johnson; her grandson Calvan Johnson; her siblings, Dawn Palmore, Dennis Sloan, Johnathan Sloan and Larry Sloan; her great-nieces, Iris, Phoebe, Judy and Ruby; and her great-nephew James. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
