Clara Mae Brown Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clara Mae Brown of Sparta, Michigan, who passed away on August 20, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Martin Doornbos and Anna Doornbos (Moedt); her daughters, Lola Gallant (Wayne) and Gloria Werkema (Scott); her grandchildren, Stephenie Gallant, Ryan Gallant, Stacy McMurray (Scott), Alisha Artavia (Paul) and Melissa Werkema; her brother Arthur Doornbos (Marilyn); her brothers-in-law, Edward Brown (Connie) and Allen Brown; her husband Russell Brown; and her brothers, Martin Doornbos, Jr. and Donald Doornbos. She was also cherished by her 10 great grandchildren.

The family suggests that memorial contributions to Trinity Christian Reformed Church in Sparta.
