We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2023, at the age of 90, Betty Jean Erskin of Sparta, Michigan, born in Alma, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sofoulis and Alta Sofoulis (Bussell); her husband Raymond Kenneth Erskin; and her brother James Sofoulis II. She is survived by: her children, Penny Redner, Kenneth Erskin (Lori) and Tim Erskin (Kerri); her sister Mary Johnson; and her sister-in-law Carroll Brophy. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and many more family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to offer expressions of sympathy are encouraged to make memorial contributions to Sparta United Methodist Church or the Salvation Army.
