He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Marie Kania; his parents, John Kania and Mary Kania; and his siblings, John, Sally and Richard.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Kania, Anthony Kania (Erica) and Lynnette Ardill-Kania (Kathleen); his grandchildren, Heather, Alex, Cortnie, Claire and Kiera; and his siblings, Edward Kania (Diane), Robert Kania and Diane Stelter.
