He is survived by: his wife Cora Aho; his children, Daniel of Tapiola, Jill Peterson Aho (Lance) of Chassell and Mark Mattila (Maria) of Trimountain; his grandchildren, Jesse Johnson, Rylar, Blaire Aho, Ariel, Cole, Chantal, Spencer, Camilla, Shiloah, Clay, Alexia, Harmony and Victoria Peterson; his sisters, Eleanor "Elly" Kuivanen (Chad), Marge Miller, Ruth North (Mark) and Karen King (Bill); and his aunt Marie Rouse. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
