It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Fay Butts of South Haven, Michigan, born in Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on January 19, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma L. McWhorter (Campton) and James Riley McWhorter Sr.; and her siblings, Lonnie, James Jr., William, Larry, Jerry, Virginia Cook and Lucille Tarpley.
She is survived by: her daughter Shirley Neigh (Jeff); her grandchildren, Rick Butterworth (Arielle), David Butterworth (Samantha), April Martinson (Aaron), Tiffany Mokma (Matt), Rebekah Foust and Priscilla Carson; and her siblings, Cleta Colclasure and Leroy Campton. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
