He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Sarles and Greta Sarles (Murray); his daughter Rita Blackwell; his son-in-law Bo Barrons; and his siblings, Leita, Wilma, Arnold, Hilton, Dean, Larry and Russell.
He is survived by: his wife Alma Calkins; his daughter Mary Barrons; his grandchildren, Lyndsey, Courtney (Nicholas), Kaitlyn and Jordyn; and his great grandchildren, Ever Rae, Landon, Christian, Quinton and Cadance. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
