She was predeceased by: her parents, Lynn Whitmore and Matie Whitmore (VanAken); her husband John Zitnik; and her grandchildren, Ashley Wagar and Michael Brzezinski.

She is survived by: her children, Merrilee Wagar (Robert) of Sherwood and Michael Wagaman (Terri) of Arkansas; and her stepchildren, John Zitnik (Rosa) and Darla Brzezinski (Dale).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Glen Arbor Hospice Residence.
