He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Macey and Olive Macey (Alspaugh); his former wife Donna (Alspaugh); his brothers, Kenneth Jr., John, Allen Harold and Marvin Macey; and his stepdaughter Connie Hess.

He is survived by: his granddaughter Kakki; his wife Shirley Macey (Shreve); his children, David Macey (Valerie) and Donita Towe; his stepsons, Gary and Larry Goodrich; his grandchildren, Corey, Jessica Macey, Kelsey Thompson (Nick), William Vincent IV (Amy), Jill Willman (Sean) and Logan Towe; his great grandchildren, Brenden, Christian and Jack Willman; his grandchildren, William Vincent V, Mila Thompson, Capper, Alexis and Annabelle Johnson; and his daughter Kim VenDis (Paul).
