He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Nast and Emma Nast (Bauer); and his granddaughter Bethanie L. Haag. He is survived by: his children, Ann Kathryn Nast of Columbia, TN and Michael L. Nast (Helene) of Sebewaing; his brother Harold Nast (Rudene) of Georgia; his grandchildren, Aaron Haag (Bianca), RaeAnn Robinson, Shena Kernstock, Robert Awrey, Amanda VanMullekom (Jared), Nikki Hughes and Nathan Hughes; and his great grandchildren, Xavier Haag, Evelyn Engelhardt, Caleb Speigel and Aslynn VanMullekom.
