He was predeceased by: his parents, Neal Strong and Dorothy Strong; and his son Steve Strong. He is survived by: his brothers, Edward Strong (Joanna) of Arizona and William Strong of Traverse City, Michigan..

Cremation has taken place and due to Covid, there will not be a memorial at this time. A memorial may be planned after the pandemic is over.
