She was predeceased by: her parents, John McCoy and Florance McCoy (Rickley); her husband Bernard DeMerse; her siblings, Earl, Merlin, Hugh, Ernest, Arthur, Jennett, June and Dorothy; and her children-in-law, Marvin Boyer and Robin DeMerse.

She is survived by: her children, Daniel DeMerse (Janet) of Marquette, Michigan, Juanita M. Hill (James) of Sault Ste, Marie, Nancy Ellison (Clyde) of Centennial and Jane Boyer of Sault Ste; her grandchildren, Kimberly Nelson (Rex), Matthew Hill, Douglas Boyer, Andrew Boyer and Nathaniel Ellison; her great grandchildren, Sean Hill, Keegan Hill, Kaden Hill, Daniel Boyer, Max Boyer, Troy Boyer, Jax Boyer, Michael Ellison, Vince Ellison, Devon Ellison and Drew Nelson; her great great grandchild Dallas Boyer; and her sister Marjorie Bossineau (Marie) of Sault Ste.
