He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick L. Bonno and Josephine Bonno (Shampine); his wife Arla Janet Berkau; his daughter Clydena Trembath; his grandson Drayden Boehmer; and his siblings, George, Barbara Bonno, William Bonno, Marie King, Elvera McLeod, Leona Willis and Adolph Bonno.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Bonno of Coldwater, Dale Bonno (Marie) of Sault Ste, Michael Jones (Terri) of Florida and Susan Bonno (Joe Urbanek) of Marine City, Michigan; his grandchildren, Ryan Trembath, Andrea Balyer, Arlan Boehmer, Tim Jones, Michelle Jones, Cindy Jones and Joe Pine; his great grandchildren, Margot, Jack, Jocelyn, Andrew, Jacob, Allison, Carson, Jackson, Alex, Nessie and Archie; and his close friend Aimee Penrose. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
