He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelbert J. Hardy and Louise Hardy (Wingeier); his wife Rose Ann Allen; his sons, Michael Patrick and Delbert Hardy; his siblings, George Hardy and Lucille Riggle; and his grandson Jeffery Hardy.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Hardy Jr. (Judy) of Saranac, David Hardy (Barb) of Saranac and Tom Hardy (Tami) of Saranac; his daughters-in-law, Peggy Patrick and Renae Hardy; his grandchildren, Eric Patrick (Becky), Jason Hardy (Kate), Tara Decker (Travis), Aaron Hardy (Leah), Andrea Hardy, Sarah Harrell (Paul), Robby Hardy III, Cliff Hardy, Travis Hardy and Steven Hardy; his nephew Jim Hardy (Peg) of Saranac; his niece Barbara Lonas (John) of Tennessee; and his close friend Al Visser. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and cousins and numerous special friends.
