She was predeceased by: her parents, Foster Walker Schenck and Evelyn Schenck (Smith); her husband Bruce Van Vleet; her grandson Samuel Geer; her sister Nancy Coffin; and her sister-in-law Marlene Monfort.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Van Vleet of Niles, MI, Brad Van Vleet (Robin) of St. Johns, Brenda Geer (Billy) of St. Johns and Betsy Clark (Jim); her grandchildren, Jacob Van Vleet, Erika Geer and Alexander Clark; her brother John Schenck; and her parents-in-law, Gary Van Vleet (Shirley) of St. Johns, Ronald Van Vleet (Iris Jean) and Janet Thompson (Ed).
Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or to St. Johns Lutheran Church.
