He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Laux and Elizabeth Laux (Maloney); and his parents-in-law, Russell and Ruth Davis. He is survived by: his wife Jan S. Laux of Saginaw Township; his sons, Matt Laux (Carol) of St. Charles and Mark Laux (Sarah) of Saginaw Township; his grandchildren, Mikayla Laux of St. Charles, Kelly Laux of St. Charles, Mira Laux of Saginaw Township and Roman Laux of Saginaw Township; his siblings, MaryAnn Verdebar (Dan) of Plymouth and David Laux (Cindy) of Flushing; his brother-in-law Randy Davis (Kim) of AuGres; and his pets, Ruby and Sally. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
