She was predeceased by: her parents, Keith Shaffner and Olive Shaffner; and her husband Steve Spess. She is survived by: her children, Janice Knoll (Kenneth) of Boise and Duane Jones (Janis) of St. Augustine, Florida; her grandchildren, Rebecca Balli (David), Melissa Threlkeld (Jon) and Aaron Jones (Michele); and her sister Elizabeth Schaub. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
