Janet Angela Alston Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Angela Alston of Royal Oak, Michigan, who passed away on February 20, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Santerini and Irene Kochis; her husband Edward Alston Sr.; and her siblings, William Santerini Jr. (Linda), Lawrence Santerini (Lois) and Mary Ann Santerini.
She is survived by: her brother Raymond Santerini (Nancy); her children, Edward Alston Jr. (Shari) and Catherine White (Stevenson); and her grandchildren, Shelby Alston and David E. Edmonds. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors-Royal Oak (705 W Eleven Mile Rd, Royal Oak, MI 48067). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
If you would prefer, in lieu of sending flowers the family requests that friends and family plant pollinator garden flowers in her memory, at a location of their choice, to honor Janet's love of butterflies.
