He was predeceased by: his daughter Tami Lynn; his parents, James McLean and Viola McLean; and his sister Shirley. He is survived by: his spouse Gail McLean; his daughters, Debbie Carpenter (Allon) and Lori Lynn McLean; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Jessica, Brooke, Caitlee and Trentyn.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
