He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Martin and Mary Martin (Pearson); his former wife Karen Bahm; and his father-in-law Gale Scheiern. He is survived by: his wife Kary Scheiern; his sons, Slater Martin (Sarah) of Greenville and Schuyler Martin of Grand Rapids; his grandchildren, Chelsea Martin of Coquille, OR, Alexander of Greenville and Elijah Martin of Greenville; his siblings, Mary Pat Martin (Dale) of Evanston, IL, Judy Mitchell of Fort Collins, CO and David Martin (Ellen) of Rock Island, IL; his mother-in-law Beverly Scheiern; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Scheiern and Kevin Scheiern.
