She was predeceased by: her husband John; her former husband Lester Vandenhoek; and her siblings, Robert Merritt, Ruth Friberg, Reva Swanson and Jack Merritt.
She is survived by: her children, Rob Creek (Kathy) and Christine Creek; her stepdaughter Judy Lachniet (Ron); her grandchildren, Autumn Seavey (Adam), Jennifer Slade (Aaron) and Benjamin Schweizbach (Eliza); and her great grandchildren, Austin Rasnake, Riley Seavey and Jack Slade. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
