He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Schweiger and Louise Schweiger (Ulbrich); his wife Diann Angeline Essenberg; his son Jason Christopher Schweiger; his siblings, Jim, Glenn, Lawrence (Martha), Ruth Wieczorek (Ignatius), Mary Raska (Robert) and Ethel Lang (Joe); and his brothers-in-law, Earl Dean and Duane Essenberg.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda (Jim Maedel), Vicki (Bob Kean), Jodie (Tim Ward), Gerri Ann (Kevin Maas), Jenelle (Keith Potter) and Craig; his daughter-in-law Amy Schweiger of Riley; his grandchildren, Angela, Kourtney (Kirk), Christina, Ashleigh (Jeffrey), Taylor (Justin), Mitchell, Kevin, Nicole, Makayla, Emily, Madison and Austin; his siblings, Dorothy Dean and Elmer Schweiger (Sue); and his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Schweiger, Irene Schweiger and Doris Essenberg. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
