With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret JoAnne Turovaara of Redford, Michigan, born in Lanse, Michigan, who passed away on October 5, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Laho and Berniece Laho (Koski); her siblings, Michael Laho and Marie Hermanson; her siblings-in-law, Ken Hietala and Dee McNally; and her son-in-law Todd Perttola.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin Turovaara; her children, Jim Turovaara (Cheryl) of Lake Linden, JoAnne Hyrkas (Paul) of Traprock Valley, Karen Perttola of Traprock Valley and Margaret McColl (Rob) of Howell; her brothers, Jim Laho (Noreen) and Dan Laho (Val); her brothers-in-law, Neil Hermanson and Pat McNally (Joan); her sister Marie Hietala; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth, John, Lanette, Jim, Rob, Tom, Sarah, Karen, Matt, Brian, Nina, Eric, Aaron, Melissa and George.
