He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalbert W. Hamel and Lillian A. Hamel (Barnes). He is survived by: his wife Judy M. Dunivant; his daughter Shelley Woods (Kevin); his grandchildren, Noah and Jenna; and his siblings, Donna Bode (Vic) and Bill Hamel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
