He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Barton and Helen Barton (Noel); his siblings, Donald, Charles Barton and Maryellen Gayiner; his brothers-in-law, Joesph Stoddard and Ray Gayiner; his granddaughter Janet Barbara Grassell; and his former wife Janet Barbara Barton (Baumann).
He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Barton of Monroe; his stepsons, Todd Edwards (Jean) of Quincy and Troy Edwards (Casey) of Lincoln Park; and his siblings, Florence Stoddard of Newport, Roland Barton (Peggy) of Monroe and James Barton (Sue) of Monroe. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
