She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Jeffrey Lyon of Portland, Mi., Cynthia Barrow of Evergreen and Karen Barnett of Rotonda West, Florida.; her grandchildren, Zachariah Lyon, Colin Barrow and Alexandra Mason; and her great grandchildren, Ellah, Konnar and Ezmae Lyon.
Marylyn continued to substitute teach part-time in Sarasota County until 2020 when Covid came along.
