It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Constance L. Bennett of Portland, Michigan, who passed away on February 4, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Sawyer and Cleda Sawyer (Brown); her siblings, Carol Lakin, Donny and Bruce Sawyer; and her nephew Darren Babbitt.
She is survived by: her children, Denny Bennett (Kistra), Greg Bennett (Michelle), Kelly Dennis (Jerry) and Jeff Bennett; her grandchildren, Samantha Crawford (Bill), Makayla Bennett (Jordan), Elisha Bennett, Hayden Dennis and Ruby Bennett; her great grandchildren, Charleigh, Wyatt Crawford and Brooks Scott; her siblings, Noel Babbitt, Becky Sims (Tod), Tom Sawyer (Deb) and Lonnie Sawyer (Rosalee); and her brother-in-law Roger Lakin.
Memorial contributions may be made towards renovations of the Floral Building at the Ionia Free Fair grounds in memory of Connie.
