She was predeceased by: her parents, Iril Shilton and Matilda Shilton; her siblings, Carl, Howard, Kenneth, Margaret, Edith and Pauline; her brothers-in-law, Marvin and Henry; her grandson Gilbert Scott "Scotty" Orta; and her husband John Smith.
She is survived by: her brother Royal Shilton (Teri); her sister-in-law Joyce Smith (Marvin); and her children, Dale Smith (Martha), Kendall Smith (Tammy), Karen Orta (Gilbert) and Jeffery Smith (Carolyn). She is also survived by many grand children, great grand children, and great-great grand children.
