He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Johnson and Iva Johnson (Souders); and his siblings, Ruth Commissaris (Robert), Vida Groth (Bill) and Al Johnson (Shirley).
He is survived by: his parents-in-law, Walter and Dorcas Elliott; his brother-in-law Art Parker; his wife Nancy L. Elliott; his sister Beverly Parker; his nephews, Russ Commissaris (Linda), Randy Commissaris (Lydia), Roger Commissaris (Cindy), Mark Johnson (Lisa), Scott Parker (Trish) and Tom Parker (Kate); his niece Cindy Schuchardt (Brad); and his sister-in-law Jan (Ron Baas).
