He was predeceased by: his parents, William Doorn and Ada Doorn (Wolfert); his siblings, Marilyn Schoonbeck, Royce and Carol; his son Douglas (Karleen); and his great grandchild Kayden.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Schaap; his children, David (Karen), Roger Jr. (Jennifer) and Janet; his grandchildren, Peter, Daniel (Alexa), Kelly (Jason Fine), Hannah (Sam DeVall), Benjamin (Carrie), Jessica, Tessa, Elena, Jager, Anneka and Jenson; his sons, Mike and Mark Schoonbeck; his friend Mart Westra; and his caregiver Kelly.
Memorial contributions may be made to the KCHS Comet Booster Club or Centrica Care Navigators in memory of Roger.
